Is this a video card issue?

Hi,



I turned off the monitor to my desktop computer last night (as I usually do) and today after I tried to turn on the monitor nothing happened (black screen). The tower is on and appears to be working but nothing on the monitor.



I took the HDMI cable out of the desktop and put it into my laptop and the monitor worked fine using my laptop, which has me wondering if it is a video card issue in my desktop.



I have this ASUS desktop model...

I took each hard drive out of the computer (SSD and HDD) and booted them up separately with a USB to SATA cable so I don't think it is anything wrong with the HDDs



Any idea how I figure out what is happening? I have integrated graphics and could buy a graphics card but if it is something more serious, like a motherboard issue, how do I determine this?
